Talking to Trees:
Join me for an evening online as I share the process behind my woodland photography: the intentional, patient work of finding order within the chaos of trees.
The woodland is one of the most challenging landscapes to photograph, and that makes it, without doubt, one of the most rewarding. In this presentation, I’ll explore how I read the light as it filters through the canopy, how I intuitively know where to position myself in a woodland, and how compositions begin to emerge once I find presence in a place, come into rhythm with the branches, and the eye is truly attuned. I’ll also share some of the techniques I lean on to translate feelings into a photograph.
This is an invitation: to slow down, to observe more, and to consider how our presence shapes the images we make.

Finding Light: A Journey into Nature to Find My Soul:
In ‘Finding Light: A Journey into Nature to Find My Soul,’ I share my story of transformation through the lens of the camera and my interactions with the natural world.
The presentation weaves together image and written word as a deeply personal response to my experiences of both external and internal landscapes. Through my photographs and heartfelt writings, I invite the audience into my story — one of healing, transformation, and discovery — offering insight into the restorative power of being in Nature.
Many of the photographs displayed represent my emotional state at the time of their creation; they provide a simultaneous view of both the inner and outer world, moving between expansive vistas of wild landscapes and intimate studies of ancient trees and mystical woodland scenes. This presentation tells the story of human experience, capturing moments of reflection, solace, and connection with spirit.
I look forward to sharing a piece of my soul with you and welcoming you into my journey.
